Stephanie Smith
Stephanie focuses her areas of practice on business litigation, employment litigation, including advising companies on policies, and general and complex civil litigation, as well as transactional matters. Stephanie also has experience in bankruptcy, in insurance defense, with a focus on construction defect defense, and dealing with a variety of matters before different administrative entities within the state of Nevada. Stephanie earned her J.D. from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law. During law school, Stephanie was the recipient of a Law College Association Scholarship and was actively involved in the Law Women’s Association, the International Law Society, the Volunteer Lawyers Program, the Asian-American Law Students Association, and the National Lawyers Guild clinics. She also completed a study abroad program in Paris through the University of San Diego, and completed a Judicial Externship with Judge Michael Miller of the Pima County Superior Court. Stephanie received dual degrees, a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Psychology, from the University of Washington where she was a Washington State Scholar, an Honors Peer Advisor, and actively participated in her sorority particularly by tutoring peers and sitting on the philanthropy committee.
